When summer turns to autumn, young cats from two to five months old have weak resistance, and sudden cooling may cause discomfort of cats. Cats with mild symptoms can sneeze and become lethargic, while cats with severe symptoms can develop respiratory infections. So how do we prevent it?
First, we should make a preliminary assessment of the cat’s symptoms.

1. If the cat at home sneezes three or five times a day, and its mental condition is good, there is no need to feed vitamins or antibiotics, just control the temperature in the room, and the cat can recover in a day or two.

If the cat sneezes continuously, there are purulent secretions in the nasal cavity, it is needed to to feed cat with commonly used antibiotics, such as Synulox.

If the cat may not eat, drink, and defecate and its body temperature is above 40 degrees, we need to make a paste out of a can with water, feed cat with a needle. The water needs to be beaten in bit by bit with a needle, too. Cats lose water very quickly with a fever, so be sure to keep hydrated.
